Olympic Weightlifting requires incredible physical and mental strength as athletes often lift more than their bodyweight while performing these advanced movement patterns. As you become an Olympic Weightlifting Coach, you’ll learn how to instruct clients to safely & effectively perform these complex lifts with confidence. By working on your skills of observation, analysis & communication, you’ll assist clients with mastery of all the Olympic Weightlifting exercises.
There are four principle objectives for this course:
- Understand the different training techniques both within the sport of Olympic lifting and within a personal training environment.
- Understand the safety considerations that influence exercise selection and programme design.
- Improve understanding of how to incorporate the Olympic lifts and/or their variations into personal training programmes.
- Improve physical execution of the different exercises and techniques covered in the course.
